Full moon’s close cycles. And the end of 2025 as we transition into 2026 feels the ending of many cycles, big and small. Full moon’s are the climax. The closure point. The release of building energies. In Cancer, this full moon closes a cycle of feeling.
The full moon in Cancer brings our attention (for once and for all) to the ongoing square that’s been taking place for the last few months between Jupiter in Cancer and Chiron in Aries. It’s bringing closure to an emotional, healing process that has been taking place over the last several months that has drawn our focus and attention to a deep-seated wound. We are closing out a healing cycle. The feelings that this wound has brought to the surface have been felt all the way through. The full moon might offer a final catharsis and closure.
Moving forward, that square is moving out of it’s aspect and the energy dissipates. Hopefully, we have not taken the opportunity for healing for granted.
The full moon opposes both Mars and Venus, who are sitting on either side of the sun in this chart. This brings attention to relationships, and the balance between masculine and feminine. It’s highly likely that the inner child and ancestral healing work we’ve been doing collectively with the Jupiter / Chiron square has significant implications for your intimate relationships. The close proximity of Venus and Mars here point to the integration of those lessons and how healing the wounds of the past will influence your relationships moving forward.
We have moved through the alchemical medicine Chiron brings us into contact with. This full moon asks that we feel anything that is left to feel, and we let go.
2026 marks a drastic shift in energy from 2025 on all fronts. This full moon is the final goodbye to the deep, intense, and purifying energy that 2025 brought into our lives. And thank God, we are ready to move forward, with a fresh perspective and less baggage than we had before.
It is time to leave the past where it belongs. In the past.
So feel it all. Let it break you open. Move it through the body.

Cancer’s shadow is to crumble into the victimhood, smallness, and fear of the full spectrum of LIFE moving through you. To stay stuck in the past, attached to nostalgia and suffering that no longer offers truth.
Let the old stories go. Let their medicine serve your becoming. Let your devotion to this new chapter overcome your fearful avoidance of change. The crab will always outgrow it’s shell. The evolutionary path is to step bravely beyond the confines of comfort, and embrace the possibility of a new becoming.
From here on out, things will speed up. We are entering the year of the fire horse. Emerging from the underworld journey of the wood snake. Take the medicine that has served you, but let the wounds, fear, and loss fall away. You were not meant to bring any of it with you.

Trust that you have received the medicine from the snake that bit you. Suck out the poison. Let go of the mind’s need to understand. Remember your divine dance with the Universe.
