Your new daily

Ritual

We will begin each day with a morning practice that invites us into our bodies through movement, breath and expression. This will be a journey inward, and an experience unique to our process of Rewilding. Expect to have your heart and intuition ignited, guiding you into each day with flow and ease. 

Each day we will explore our inner and outer worlds through practices and experiences that are designed to help us reconnect with our own inner wild and wise woman. Every day will have different themes and practices and will evolve as we move through the journey together. Themes will be based on the 5 feminine archetypes you have studied through the Rose Temple Academy. Workshops may include practices like breathwork, journaling and self reflection, self-love, connecting to our inner cycles, forest bathing, plant wisdom, dynamic meditation, cacao ceremony, tantra, astrology, moon gazing and more. 

Sample Daily Schedule:

5-7 am - Free Time : coffee, tea & fruit available, bird watching, watch the sunrise

7-9 am  - Morning Ritual : card pull, breathwork, embodiment practice, meditation, journaling

10-11 am  - Brunch : a delicious array of fresh and hot breakfast, Costa Rican style

11-2 pm - Free time : explore the mountainside, lounge by the pool, or read in a cozy nook

2-5 pm - Workshop : expect an initiation into the feminine expression of the day’s archetype

5:30-6:30 pm - Dinner : a feast of Costa Rican or international cuisine

7-8 pm - Evening Ceremony : sharing circle, guided reflection, and integration of the day

A Retreat for Rose Temple Students & Alumni

Rose Temple Academy of Feminine Arts

This retreat is an opportunity for current students and alumni of the Rose Temple Academy to deepen their studies in an immersive, experiential, and in person environment.

The retreat is closed to current and former students of the Academy, in order to ensure that all participants share a common ground of knowledge, prior study, and embodiment of the teachings we explore in the school. This allows for us to go much deeper together in person, with shared foundations supporting our discovery and transformation.

In the Temple, we explore, study and embody 5 feminine archetypes over the course of an 8 month journey together.

Beginning with foundations of sovereignty and magical containment & discipline, you study the Witch archetype. Next you deepen into your roots, reciprocity, and integrity with the Medicine Woman archetype. This leads to discovery of your unique soul path through Evolutionary Astrology and the Mystic archetype. You will eventually encounter personal initiations on the path which leads to the embrace of the Alchemist archetype. Finally, you will learn to build, harness and direct your creative life force energy, through the Priestess archetype.

I’m not your typical retreat host 🌿✨

I believe in authenticity above all else, and I designed an experience that allows my authentic expression to shine. In doing so, I’m naturally holding space for YOUR authentic expression to shine.

This is a co creation.

I have no idea exactly how it will all play out, and that’s part of the magic : YOU. You are the container. Your voice is the medicine. Your experience is your responsibility. And this gives YOU all the power.

I’m facilitating the space. And in that space, together we make magic.

After hosting the 10 retreats, including 6 years of the Wild Woman retreat in Costa Rica, I create a space that is simultaneously safe & expansive.

I’ve participated in many healing and transformative containers over the years. And I have seen first-hand that creating peak experienced without safety, integration, integrity, and deep roots can be extremely destabilizing and even dangerous.

I understand that my personal relationship with the land itself, and the depths I have taken myself to in my own personal healing and expansion form the foundation from which I am able to hold this container. My relationship with the land of Costa Rica has been developed and deepened over a decade. I will never take you deeper than I have taken myself.

Our schedule is flexible and adaptable based on my constant attunement to the changing needs of the group and individuals. Our days are filled with spaciousness to allow rest and integration. Being on this land alone is a deep initiation, and one I am honoured to hold space for in safety and integrity.

Together we will expand your capacity for what is possible, without overriding your system’s needs for grounding and integration throughout the experience. The intention is to hold gentle and yet powerful space for expansion that is able to take root and weave into your life as you return home after a week together in the jungle.

Welcome to Alma de Esmeralda, a family run, boutique retreat space secluded in the mountains of Costa Rica, overlooking the Chirripo valley. A stunning private castle with untouched views of the nature reserve, surrounded by mountains and fresh rivers, and luxurious amenities.

Wake up to the sun streaming in over the mountains, and stroll into the kitchen for freshly brewed coffee, grown right here on the property. Breathe in the fresh mountain air as you settle in for a morning practice of breathwork, movement, meditation and reflection on the deck overlooking the valley. Reconnect to the rhythms, cycles, and elements of nature and your own body and heart. Immerse yourself in the rejuvenating Costa Rican wild.

Spend your afternoons lounging in the infinity pool, taking a sacred goddess bath in the mermaid grotto, or curled up with a book or journal in a reading nook as the clouds roll in over the mountains and surround the house in mist.

The combination of immersive spiritual practice, celebratory sisterhood and immersion in the natural world is a powerful and transformative experience. Alma de Esmeralda offers the perfect destination for us to unplug from our domestication, and Rewild our inner world. 

All of our accommodations offer single or double occupancy rooms, with shared access to the most gorgeous goddess bathrooms you’ve ever seen. We have an infinity pool, shallow lounge pool, and several lounge areas to relax and take in the sights, sounds and life of the mountains. The castle is surrounded by trails, and a short hike from the Los Gigantes nature reserve and river. Choose from single or double occupancy rates.
