Astrology Report for the Full Moon in Leo 2026
Full Moon | Leo | Feb 1, 2026
The full moon in Leo pulls focus on the balance between our individual power, and our responsibility to the collective. With a stellium in the revolutionary sign of Aquarius opposing the full moon, we are being asked to innovate, liberate, and recreate the world around us, starting from within.
Here is the chart for the full moon:
Full moons in Leo illuminate our integration of self-worth, confidence, and our ability to let ourselves shine. In Leo we are learning to be seen. We are stepping into the spotlight. And we are healing insecurity that keeps us from taking up space and shining bright.
This full moon is opposed by a stellium in Aquarius, and follows an intense couple of weeks where every personal planet has just passed by the planet Pluto. There is a collective reckoning taking place, and the rebirth of the personal planets in Aquarius offered us a potent upgrade and transformation on the individual and collective levels.
Over the last two weeks, Mercury, Venus, the Sun, and Mars all made their annual pass to Pluto. This doesn’t always happen all at once, and when it does, it brings an important opportunity for an ego death and rebirth that ripples through the collective. Pluto is the Lord of the underworld. He rules death and rebirth, and always brings transformation. We have all been impacted by Pluto over the last few weeks.
In Aquarius, this is an awakening to the collective injustices that have been buried, denied, institutionalized, and ignored for too long. Aquarius burns down structures and societal conditions that are not serving liberation and justice. On an individual level, this could be the surfacing of internal structures that do not support individual freedom and evolution.
Aquarius is the archetype that brings change and revolution to outdated, archaic and institutionalized power structures. Aquarius invites us to think outside the box. Rather than reactionary change — which only serves to deepen imbalances by reinforcing the pendulum swing — Aquarius invites us to innovate. To see beyond what has been done, and imagine a new way forward. This requires a quantum leap in consciousness.
The full moon in Leo is asking us to embody that quantum leap in consciousness on an individual level. Aquarius helps us see our role within the greater context of human evolution. Leo asks that we don’t play small in showing up for that role.
In a time when the world seems to be in crisis, it is easy to become reactionary, to slip into deep fear, and to become completely immobilized. It is also easy to look at current world events and say that we are living in unprecedented times, and to use this to justify reactionary responses. However, neither of these approaches are ultimately productive in creating a new world.
Aquarius is holding the vision for that new world. Leo is calling us into personal responsibility for showing up in our own unique role in creating that world.
We are living in a time where war is playing out on the level of our minds, our consciousness is under attack. If we cannot think for ourselves, we are simply pawns in an ongoing power and domination control game. If we allow our consciousness to be fully consumed by despair and trauma, we become impotent and incapable of taking the actions required to create real change. We liberate ourselves when we pull our consciousness back from the forces seeking to dominate our time, minds, and energy.
This requires sovereignty, a true quantum leap in consciousness from the perpetual loop of the victim triangle we are all stuck playing out. Sovereignty means we acknowledge our own realm of power and influence, and we fully inhabit ourselves. We take back control over our minds. We liberate our consciousness and energy from the trauma loops and redirect our consciousness to what we want to create. This does not mean we turn a blind eye to suffering. Quite the opposite.
When we live within our sovereignty, we see all beings as sovereign. From a place of true responsibility for our power of creation, we use the immeasurable power of the human heart and spirit to transmute pain and suffering. We choose to stay rooted in power within. We refuse to give our power away to external structures, governments, and institutions. We recognize our own personal shadows of victimhood, martyrdom, and persecutor, and we integrate these patterns and step out of the loop.
We do not fall victim to helplessness and become immobilized. We also do not justify our passivity as spiritual detachment. We recognize our power of creation through consciousness and action. We fully inhabit our bodies and lives. We step into true responsibility for playing our right role in changing the world.
The full moon in Leo asks us to examine the ways we avoid our true responsibility and fall into hedonism and self aggrandizing behaviours. The full moon also asks that we take stock of the ways we have disengaged from our own power, luminosity, and inner strength. We need to be in right relationship with our power.
This is a powerful time to reclaim your consciousness from forces that seek to colonize the mind. From this place of sovereignty, under this full moon, we are invited to step into the light we are authentically here to shine. Owning fully our individual role in collective liberation. And acknowledging the ways in which we hide from our own light, and deprive the world of our powerful role in creating collective transformation.
Big love and full moon blessings,
Hannah
PS. The ways we hide from or betray our own power can be very subtle and insidious. I have a free workshop on bringing awareness to and working through these patterns somatically, which you can access for free here: Healing the Witch Wound.
I would also love to invite you to join my free community Coven, where we host moon circles, I share these moon reports, and there are lots of resources and trainings as well as a network of other witches walking this path of rewilding.
