Astrology Report for the Full Moon Eclipse in Virgo

Our second eclipse for this particularly eventful and spicy eclipse season is officially here to close the portal. The time between eclipses is always potent and in some ways a liminal space. Both the doorways to our karmic loops of the past (South Node) and to our highest potential and greatest growth (North Node) have been open and activated for the last 2 weeks.
As we close this eclipse season, pay attention to the micro moments over the last 2 weeks that old stories, mental loops, and patterns that feel karmic have been illuminated. Eclipses can help to bring the unconscious to consciousness.
This isn’t to say that we have clarity or all the answers, not at all. In fact, we’re still swimming in deeply uncertain waters all of Pisces season while Mercury is retrograde in Pisces at the North Node.
Let’s dive into the chart:
Eclipses provide opportunities for turning points on the journey of our soul’s evolution. This particular eclipse is at the South Node, making it an opportunity to let go of a pattern we’ve been looping on. The South Node represents where we get stuck in downward spirals, where unconscious loops keep us repeating the same “lessons” again and again.
Since the South Node is currently in Virgo, the loop this eclipse is revealing is a mental one. A place our minds get stuck on a story or belief that keep us perpetuating a lack of trust in life, and seeking to control our circumstances through a sense of certainty. This can also be a place we get stuck perpetuating perfectionism tendencies and patterns of fixing, obsessing, judging, criticizing, and micro-managing.
This eclipse is an opportunity to bring an unconscious pattern of the mind into consciousness.
By illuminating where we get stuck ruminating, you can finally step out of the cycle.
This eclipse is especially interesting because it’s ruled by Mercury, who is currently retrograding at the North Node in Pisces. This amplifies the karmic energy of the chart, since Mercury retrogrades while the South Node is in Virgo are especially potent for revealing and releasing karmic patterns. This retrograde happening in Pisces at the North Node offers a realignment that will eventually help us reach for our destiny.
This retrograde we have an assignment to rethink something major in our lives, particularly surrounding our mission, purpose and destiny. Right now we are in the thick of the retrograde cycle, so we aren’t meant to have the answers yet, only questions. It’s time to be reconsidering major life decisions and reflecting, opening up to seeing things differently. The vision is growing and expanding right now. We aren’t meant to know or figure out (mind) how it’s all going to work, we’re meant to trust and surrender (heart) to the expansion we know is possible, and allow ourselves to be blown away by something greater than the mind’s ability to conceive.
With all the Pisces in the chart currently, it feels like we’re floating through a fever dream and our direction is completely unclear, reforming before our eyes. The point here is to trust and flow, let the inspiration find you, and open to magic and possibility.
Clearing shadows around lacking trust, fear, doubt and uncertainty which is where the mind tries to cling and grasp for something to hold onto. Right now there is nothing to anchor the certainty you’re looking for. This is a moment of deep faith and trust in a plan much larger than your own personal ideas.
Clarity will come by the time Mercury stations direct, conjunct the North Node exactly, at the same time as the astrological new year when the sun moves into Aries on March 20th. The days following will be a huge opportunity to anchor into the new vision and timeline you are currently revising. Momentum will be powerfully thrusting you into the creation of that new dream, with the sun making aspect to Saturn and Neptune in early Aries.

An incredible portal to release any patterns that are holding you hostage and make space to receive the expansion that will move you towards your destiny.
