Full Moon in Taurus
Full Moon | Taurus | Nov 5, 2025
Alright folks, this full moon is not exactly an easy one. Let’s unpack the transits and explore what this full moon is bringing, and how we can work with the energy.
Here is your chart:
This is a full moon in Taurus, pulling focus to the balance between intensity, deep healing and transformation (Scorpio) and stability, consistency, and groundedness (Taurus). Full moons are opportunities to gain perspective, through the illumination of the moon, and to release something.
The themes of Taurus are love and money. Taurus wants a stable, secure, and sensually delicious foundation in both. Yet this full moon invites us to face the ways we have gotten in our own way of creating that foundation.
The moon itself is not doing a ton, other than making a sextile to the North Node and a trine to the South Node. This is helpful. It means the challenges we see in the rest of the chart (more to come on that) are ultimately here to serve an important purpose when it comes to our evolutionary path.
A positive angle to the nodes means that this full moon is here to help us take steps that will ultimately move us forward. There is a larger, karmic purpose to the energies we are currently navigating. This moon wants to illuminate what that karmic purpose is, and help us see the challenges we are facing from a bigger picture perspective.
Why do I say we’re facing challenges? Because when we look to the ruler of this moon, Venus, we find her in a tough spot.
Venus is sitting in a T-square with Jupiter, Pluto, and Chiron. Put very simply, this means BIG, BIG healing in relationships. Transformative healing.
The last moon we had was the new moon in Libra (report here). This new moon set the stage for a season of relational transformation. Something about the way you show up to relating is undergoing a massive change. The new moon held the intention of that change. The seed.
Now, we are going through several months of Jupiter in Cancer squared Chiron in Aries. This amplifies and brings heightened emotional reactions to a core wound around identity, individuality, autonomy, and personal power.
Chiron is a deep wound, usually connected to lineage and generational patterns. Healing Chiron is essentially to our evolutionary path, and ultimately offers us medicine to share with others. Chiron in Aries is revealing a core wound around identity and individual expression. The tension between our personal interests, passions, goals and vitality, and the ways we have abandoned that in search of emotional safety.
Relationships are coming up again and again, as planets transit the late degrees of Libra and join the square. The newest planet to move through this part of the chart is Venus, right on time for this full moon she rules. Libra just wants to bring balance. But the shadow of Libra is fawning. It’s all the ways we compromise our standards and our willpower to appease and please others.
And then Pluto is enters the chat. As Venus moves into Scorpio, she will square Pluto (Scorpio’s ruler) exactly, but during this full moon we are already beginning to feel the effects. Venus in Scorpio is already intense. She’s obsessive, possessive, jealous and crazy. She’s got power dynamic issues and gets lost in her dark desires. To take it a little further, she’ll be challenged by Lord Pluto.
Pluto square Venus is a catharsis of the torturous dynamics in relationship we have subjected ourselves to. It’s also an honest look at the ways we have chosen to eat the pomegranate of the underworld — and the consequent power dynamics we have consented to. This is a karmic review of domination and control issues in relationships, their roots, and their potential for transformation.
All of the challenges facing Venus are positioning her in a place of reckoning. Opposed by Chiron, a generational wound in relationships is revealed. Squared by Jupiter, that wound — and the consequences of ignoring it — are amplified, larger than life. Squared by Pluto, there is a potent potential for transformation of this pattern. Pluto pulls focus to what must be released in order to move forward in a new way.
The full moon in Taurus is an opportunity and an invitation to illuminate the karmic and generational ROOTS of the ways we have self-abandoned in order to maintain an illusion of safety and stability in our relationships. Taurus invites us to create a new standard rooted in high self-worth and self-nurturing. Taurus helps us remember that the relationship we have with self forms the foundation of all other relationships in our life, and asks us to recommit to the practical ways we honour and love ourselves, every day.
Big love and full moon blessings,
Hannah
