Full Moon in Sagittarius

Full Moon | Sagittarius | June 11, 2025

The full moon in Sag comes in tomorrow at 3:43 am ET. Scroll to the end for an in depth video reading of the chart.

I’m not going to sugar coat it, this chart looks a bit like ADHD energy meets overwhelm meets emotional drama. If this week feels particularly filled with scattered, anxiety-ridden, and overthinking energy, you’re feeling the chart.

The full moon is in Sagittarius, which is generally a happy-go-lucky energy however, the full moon’s most significant aspect is a square to the nodes. Whenever anything squares the nodes we experience a challenge point in our karmic nodal journey. The difficulty of the growth required to reach for the north node is amplified, and the karmic lessons of the south node are also amplified.

With the sun being in Mercury ruled Gemini, and the south node in Mercury ruled Virgo, we are experiencing the shadows of Mercury and therefore the shadows of the mind. Overthinking, rumination, self-doubt, criticism of self or others, overly negative thinking and just plain anxiously spinning out in the mind are all examples of this.

The remedy here comes through the one helpful aspect in this chart, the moon’s trine to Mars. Rather than spiralling in our thoughts and feeling overwhelmed, and thus paralyzed to take action, Mars invites us to get going. Anxiety is often a symptom of inaction and overthought. This is remedied by just simply beginning, and doing what we can.

Our faith will also likely be tested by this full moon — yet our north node in Pisces wants us to get out of analyzing the how and stay committed to our big dreams. With the north node ruler, Neptune, still conjunct Saturn for the rest of this year, we are again reminded that these long term visions are legacy dreams. Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Steer clear of Saturn’s tendency to crush Neptune’s dreams and activate your devotional commitment to taking small steps each day to bring them to life. If you don’t yet know what vision the north node in Pisces is asking you to bring forth, don’t force it. Commit to consistency in your spiritual practice and surrender the “figuring it out”. This type of dream is not one you can think your way into.

An additional and important aspect of this chart is that Jupiter, the ruler of the full moon, has just entered Cancer. Jupiter changes signs once a year, so his ingress into Cancer will bring blessings and benefit to Cancer placements and whatever house is occupied by Cancer in your chart, over the next year. Working with Jupiter is a beautiful way to welcome more blessings into your life. With Jupiter in Cancer, the theme of feeling safe to receive and hold those blessings will be a big one.

Jupiter in Cancer also amplifies our emotional energy, since Cancer is the sign where we learn to create safety for the full spectrum of human emotion. And unfortunately, Jupiter is starting off his time in Cancer on a bit of a rocky foot, in square to Saturn in Aries. Squares to Saturn are never a fun time, as Saturn can bring a harsh and restrictive energy in a challenge aspect like a square.

This particular transit feels like overblown emotions (Jupiter in Cancer) which are being expressed and vocalized, LOUDLY, thanks to Mercury being in the mix. And the square to Saturn adds an element of authoritarian energy or control, and quite honestly aggression. This feels like a big, loud, angry fight between two toddlers that ends with someone in tears (probably Cancer).

We want to be mindful of overblown emotional reactions, and take your time before responding if your emotions feel out of proportion to the situation at hand. Deeply buried grief and resentment can rise to the surface at this time and trigger emotional outbursts and rage. If necessary, take time to move these big emotions through the body and restore your equilibrium in nature. Raw, primal emotions will be running high this week so be gentle and give grace to yourself and others.

This transit could also look like Saturn on a mission to go after those long term visions, and overlooking Jupiter in Cancer’s very real need for extra self care and nourishment during this time. These two needs might feel in opposition this week, but try to bring balance to Saturn’s tendency to overwork by remembering that these legacy dreams are a lifetime in the making, and not everything needs to happen tomorrow. Take designated time each day to nourish yourself and unwind to avoid burning out from the inevitable overload of tasks to get done this week.
