Your feminine doesn’t trust you – & the missing piece I know you’re overlooking

Can I name the thing you’re avoiding admitting to yourself?

You’re so tired of trying to figure out how to get it right.

By the time you wake up, your kid is screaming or the dog needs to go out.  You pull yourself out of bed, and before you’ve even taken a deep breath, you’re already attuned to what the world needs from you.

You go through the day rushing from one thing to another, taking care of everyone around you, still somehow feeling like it’s not enough.

You wish you could relax more.  You wish you could soften…  but instead your shoulders are tense.  You feel like you’re holding the weight of your world.

And then, you crash.  By the end of the night all you want to do is numb out and dissociate.

You know this isn’t you in your feminine energy.

You wish you could tap into that feeling of surrender, receptivity, creativity, flow, pleasure, and ease.  But it just gets added to the long list of things you wish you had time for… and becomes another thing you judge yourself for not having figured out.

If only you had more time…

Here’s what most women get wrong about wanting to feel more connected to their feminine essence: you don’t get there through some abstract process of becoming more passive, or by forcing or figuring out your way into softness.  You also don’t get there by having more time or less responsibilities.

Your feminine will naturally flourish as a result of her feeling safe.  And the safety she is looking for comes from the one thing you’ve been avoiding : CONTAINMENT.

Containment is not something that just happens on its own.

You won’t ever get there by dancing more in your lingerie (and by the way, are you supposed to squeeze that in between brushing your teeth and making coffee while your partner, kids and pets whirl around you?)

Containment is foundational to everything else that I teach my clients.  How the fuck are you supposed to get more in touch with yourself when you don’t even have a moment or space to yourself?

Without containment, your feminine is going to fluctuate between over-functioning and collapse.  This is why you alternate between trying, trying, trying all day, until you’re so exhausted all you can do is flop onto the couch and turn on a mind-numbing show.

Containment is the first step to everything I teach in the Rose Temple Academy.

If you’re thinking “I don’t even have a moment to myself, how am I going to make time for a course like this” – the fact that you haven’t created the structure and containment around your time and energy to pour back into yourself is exactly why you need a course like this.

You want your feminine to trust you?

She needs to feel safe to unfurl.  She needs structure – tangible time and space.

She needs you to be able to feel what is yours and what is not yours, so that you stop taking on all of the emotions in the room.

She needs to feel your capacity expand to navigate life while staying connected to yourself.

If you want a taste of what it looks like to give yourself that containment, I’m sharing the foundational practice we work with in the Rose Temple.  It’s a moment of connecting to yourself, before you become whatever the external world needs you to be.

And the more you think you don’t have time for it, the more you need it.

To your feminine essence thriving as the effortless blossoming of your innate nature 🌹

With love,
