First of all, I want to share that for a long time I've been wanting to write & express more candidly with you. Instagram used to be a space where I felt inspired to share behind the scenes of my own process, and now it feels like it's become a space for endless and infinite advice and a race to capture your attention. Sharing in that way does NOT light up my soul.

I am a writer. And AI has taken the magic and soul out of so much of the written word we encounter online these days. As someone who deeply values soul above all else, being in the social media space feels exhausting and depleting to me.

I'd love to share more of my heart and soul through writing again, which brings me to why I am writing you now.

It all started as soon as Mercury went Retrograde.

I knew it would be a major retrograde (for everyone, which I have shared about extensively in my Cosmic Tea reports and Coven telegram). But especially for me. Happening in my first house, I knew everything would be up for reconsideration. Hitting my ascendant exactly, I knew my identity would go through a death & rebirth process.

I was correct.

The thing I love about working with astrology, is that you know the cosmic currents you are riding. From here, you can move into alignment with the flow -- stepping into the slipstream of magic.

It doesn't mean the transits won't rock you. But when they do, you will know what they are trying to teach you (which allows you to much more readily show up for the lesson 🤓). As a huge nerd and over-achiever, I love being prepared for the school of life.

Astrology has the cheat codes for exactly what you're supposed to be learning in any given moment. This is why it's one of the 5 core pillars of what I teach in the Rose Temple, so you can unlock the secrets of your own soul path, as you go along.

Not-so-unexpectedly, I hit a wall the minute Mercury turned around. I was in the middle of launching the next round of the Rose Temple, and suddenly everything felt wrong. I didn't question this impulse. I know by now that Mercury (although a trickster) is on my side. That the ways his retrogrades ask me to slow down bring in space for shifts and refinements that ultimately bring me into much more truth and alignment.

So I surrendered to the slowing.

I pulled all my energy back in, and became curious about where there was something off. Clarity arrived slowly, in bits and pieces and aha moments and conversations where something clicked. Almost immediately I had gone off social media, retreated from all external advice, and then I found myself on the first true vacation I've taken in over a year.

The wild always holds the answers for me.

When I tell you I frolicked,

I really frolicked. Harvested wild medicines and mushrooms, swam in lakes when it was too cold to get naked (but did it anyway), laughed harder than I have in years, caught a fish and ate it for dinner, climbed on rocks, sat around the fire, danced, met a plant friend I have been eager to connect with for years (it was Ghost Pipe, iykyk), ate wild berries, and came home remembering what it's like to be full of life.

My delight came back.

This retrograde was about tending to our emotional selves, what we need to feel safe, and where we need to learn to tolerate more risk.

For me, these themes are deeply tied to my identity -- as a Cancer rising and moon, with several strong Aquarius placements. Freedom and safety are at odds in my life and chart, and tending to my tenderness, while also exercising my need for adventure is a big part of my soul path.

**Reconnecting to my inner child, play, and adventure, taking risks, and feeling safe to rest...**

reminded me why I created Rewild the Soul in the first place.

I created Rewild the Soul because I believe in the possibility, and incredible magic, that becomes possible when we stop bypassing our true nature, and move into HARMONY with it.

I believe in a world where we actually honour our cycles, the wisdom of our bodies, and of nature, and we reap enormous rewards for doing so.

I have poured an enormous amount of energy into the creation of the most epic and powerful SCHOOL of magic and the feminine over the last year.

It is truly the most incredible thing I have ever created.

But while I was rushing into the next launch, the next cohort, planning for it to consecutively follow (even overlap) the current cohort who has been moving through the curriculum as I created it live for the last year... my body said WOAH. We need a break. We need to build this in a way that honours cycles and seasons.

In honour of the feminine, she who continues to guide and teach and initiate me every day…
